Dr. Karla Hilliard

Originally an Ohio farm girl, Dr. Karla Hilliard graduated with honors from Texas A&M University. She worked for the next 3 years in the Pulmonary Pathology Lab at University of Texas’ Health Science Center at San Antonio, doing research on respirators for premature infants, before returning to TAMU’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She now lives in Houston with her husband, two children (one of whom was born prematurely and required a respirator), a dog, a cat and four guinea pigs.

Heather

Heather was born in Sioux City, Iowa but has been in Texas since 2008, where she started working as a veterinary technician. She joined the Cypresswood Animal Clinic crew in 2015. You may know her from our Hope for Heather journey where we raised enough money to have Heather receive stem cell treatment for her MS at the end of February 2017! Heather does not let her MS slow her down or stop her from being an amazing technician. She is an inspiration to everyone here and her struggles remind us to remain positive through all of life's curve balls. When Heather is not working she enjoys spending time with her 2 kids and watching Netflix. She also has 2 dogs and a cat.

Emily

Jamie

Jamie has been with Cypresswood Animal Clinic since January 2016. She obtained her Veterinary Assistant Certificate from Penn Foster late summer of 2016 and is currently enrolled to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She is a fast learner and has grown tremendously in the past year. Jamie enjoys crocheting and spending time with her family when she is not at the clinic. She has 2 dachshunds that also occupy her time. She is also the quietest of all the Cypresswood Crew.

Tiffany

Tiffany has been a veterinary technician since 2002 and started working at Cypresswood Animal Clinic in April 2009 as the surgical technician. She has been the Hospital Manager since 2014. She spends most of her time finding ways to improve the clinic and advance the team. When Tiffany is not working she spends her time with her husband, daughter and 2 dogs. She also enjoys photography and traveling.

Reagan and Yogi Bear

Reagan is the daughter of Tiffany and Yogi Bear is her side-kick. Together they spend their days running about the clinic and entertaining the staff and clients. Reagan joined the Cypresswood Animal Clinic team in March 2014 and Yogi Bear was adopted and welcomed to the crew in December 2016.
